About

I'm a teacher and learning experience designer with over 5 years experience in education. I have a passion for seeing people grow and learn in all fields and phases of life. Empathy is my super power. In instructional design I harness that power to help clients identify problem areas that are causing knowledge and skills gaps and guide them towards relevant and appropriate learning objectives and solutions.

 

As a teacher, empathy guides my student interaction and relationships are my number one goal. I believe in the importance of diversity and inclusion in the classroom and prioritize assessment equity. As a science teacher I align instruction to NGSS and ensure that students are able to demonstrate mastery at the nexus of cross cutting concepts, science practices, and core ideas.
